19th century. An excellent specimen from the village of Fachraly, located in the heart of Christian Armenia. The overall effect is dominated by the bottle green field with a classic ‘Fachralo medallion’. The simple border features colourful hook ornaments on a light-coloured ground. Minor traces of usage, small professional repairs, in original condition, dated 1298 (1881).
