porcelain, the well with a polychrome painted crest featuring a sail boat, surmounted by the lettering „DISCE PATI“, surrounded by a gilt border, the lip and inside rim with alternating salmon coloured and white fields and gold-painted leaf festoons, leafy tendril, gilt edging, diameter 21.7 cm, violet logotype, gilding scuffed, (Hr)

The crest was awarded to Admiral Duncan after he defeated the Dutch fleet at the Battle of Camperduin in 1797.
