Nora Exner's "Entwurf für dekorative Malerei" [design for decorative painting] in particular represents a high point of the art of surface decoration (Flächenkunst) in Vienna around 1900. The Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt chose this motif of a sitting dog for its advertising campaign on the occasion of the 'Art for All' exhibition in 2016. In addition to Nora Exner, this double sheet contains designs by the following artists: Josef Bruckmüller - Hans Eisterer - Franz Fibiger - Leopold Forstner - Karl Krenek - Marietta Peyfuss - Hilde Raschke
