c. 1900, executed by the Thonet company at a later date, four-legged construction made of bent beechwood, plywood seats. Marked with Thonet adhesive label. Dimensions: height c. 77 cm, depth c. 50 cm, width c. 55 cm, height of seat 45 cm. Signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions. (MHA)
This model was a favourite of Le Corbusier and the German Bauhaus architects of the 1920s for their interiors.
