The “Antiques and Furniture” auction will be held in the Dorotheum in Vienna on 22 April 2015. The items on offer include the lot “Glorification of the Electorate of Saxony” with the portrait "Maria Josepha of Austria". The “Glorification of the Electorate of Saxony” is an extraordinary roup of figures, as it presents the portrait of Maria Josepha of Austria, wife to August III., Dresden, 17/10/1696 - 5/10/1763, King of Poland since 1733, as Frederick August II., Elector of Saxony. Until now, it has been known that the same group was depicted in 1765 with the portrait of August III.
