Contemporary Week Preview | 29 November - 3 December
Dorotheum’s Contemporary Week takes place from November 29th to December 3rd, 2021. Important works by Austrian and international artists will be offered at the Modern Art auction on November 30th, lead by Albin Egger-Lienz, Alfons Walde, Werner Berg, Fernand Léger, Joan Mirò, Max Ernst, Hans (Jean) Arp and Renato Guttuso. The Contemporary Art auctions on December 1st and 2nd have a rich and diverse selection of significant works by artists such as Georges Mathieu, Serge Poliakoff, Hans Hartung, Emilio Vedova, Carla Accardi, Tancredi and Otto Piene, to name a few. An exceptional selection from the oeuvre of Austrian artists will be also offered: from Arnulf Rainer, Hans Bischoffshausen, Hermann Nitsch, to Max Weiler, Rudolf Polanszky, Martha Jungwirth and Erwin Wurm.
