Produced by Steinway & Sons New York 1876, Patent Grand Opus No.31.215, 7 1/4 octaves, with a rosewood-veneered case on carved and cabriole legs with brass casters, ivory keys, length 260 cm, sound board fully restored by Steinway (Hamburg). In restored condition, without guarantee for tone. (DOC) ASA
A similar model with Opus No. 34.304 was used by Richard Wagner (1813 1883) and is to be found in the Richard Wagner Museum in Bayreuth (D).
