Large Italian vitrine,
Venice 19th century. A richly carved two-part hardwood vitrine of a modified rococo style, with a serpentine front, painted mint green and gold, the lower section with two doors and rich rocaille decoration, the upper section with a broken pediment, serpentine glazing on three sides, fitted interior with pink lining and glass shelf. Ca. 236 x 133 x 44 cm. With remains of former electrical fitting. In cared-for condition. (DOC)
