Mixed lot (3 pieces), Sri Lanka (Ceylon), Afghanistan: 2 gilt silver necklaces from Sri Lanka, and one from Afghanistan, made of silver.
1: A necklace from Sri Lanka made of many interlinked small individual components with spheres at the top and round small plates and palmettes at the bottom. The second necklace from Sri Lanka consists of larger spherical beads of two different types and small spherical filigree beads. Both necklaces have pin fasteners and are made of gilt silver. Length: 53 cm and 40 cm (the chain open).
2: A necklace from Afghanistan. With twenty-four individual parts attached to two hanks of chain. The individual components consist of a rosette at the top, a lozenge and a boteh-shaped protrusion at the bottom. They are each finished off to the left and right with a rosette and some woven silver wire. With a hook-and-eye clasp. Everything is made of very high-quality silver. Length: c. 40.5 cm.
