1: A knife with a long, straight, narrow and pointed blade. Type: an armour piercer (to stab through chainmail or lightweight armour). The single-edged blade has an accentuated broad back. The hilt is made of bone material and has a finial at the upper end made of punched sheet silver set with a shimmering, light brown striped polished quartz gemstone (tiger’s eye). Length: 33 cm.

2: A knife with a single-edged blade made of Damascus steel with fine patterning on both surfaces. It is offset from the hilt and damascened with silver in the shape of framed leafy tendrils. The hilt itself is made from faceted polished glass. Length: 28.5 cm.
