A rare, beautiful pair of ‘three-tiered’ bangles made entirely of silver, from the Yomud Turkmens. The three sectors of each bracelet are separated by bands of delicate silver wire. The three central stripes on each bracelet display delicately decorated gold sheet (they are not gilded) and are each set with five smooth carnelians (there are therefore 30 carnelians in total on the pair). In very good condition, no damage.
Height: each 10 cm; diameter: each 6.5 cm x 8 cm.
