Mixed lot (2 items): Berber, North Africa (from Algeria to Libya): two flat, round pendants, each with their own pendants on chains. All made of high quality silver. - Tribal Art

1: A large, round and flat pendant with a jagged edge. The surface of the front side is studded with a central silver sphere, surrounded by four soldered silver rhombuses in an engraved circle. A band engraved with curved plant-like ornamentation. The back is smooth. There is one hanger above as well as eight eyelets below. On these eyelets decorative, drop-shaped plates with chased sun, moon and star motifs hang on silver chains, as well as 14 spherical bells. The chain above is made of braided silver wire (possibly attached in second place). It is all made of silver.
Diameter: c. 6 cm (the round pendant plate).
2: A second, smaller pendant in the same style. Flat, round and with a rounded edge, a central silver sphere and four soldered silver rhombuses. Surrounded by engraved circles and zig-zags. The back of the second pendant is also smooth. Above is a hanger and then below are a further seven soldered eyelets. On these eyelets decorative, drop-shaped plates hang on silver chains with chased and framed sun and star motifs, as well as seven spherical bells. It is all made of silver.
Diameter: 5 cm (the round pendant plate). Both ornaments show traces of use but no significant damage.
