Two charming, small shrine figures, male and female, from the Ibo or Ibibio (a subgroup of the Ibo in southeastern Nigeria). The male figure is mainly dyed reddish-brown (by means of powdered redwood), with white face (kaolin).
The female figure is mainly white (kaolin) and both her arms are movable.
Height: each 21 cm.
