Johann Hückel, (Neutitschein 1843-1917), son of the hat manufacturer Albert Hückel, 1814-1880, whom he succeeds in running the firm in 1868 with his brothers August and Carl; J. Hückel's Sons became one of the largest and most innovative hat makers of the dual monarchy and in 1893 became a purveyor to the imperial court. 1872, marriage to Franziska Hückel, (b. Schustala, Nesselsdorf 1852-1919 Neutitschein), daughter of the industrialist Ignaz Schustala the Elder, 1822-1891, proprietor of the Nesselsdorfer Carriage Factory (the future "Tatra Werke Automobil- and Waggonbau AG Koprivnice"). Their children Alfred and Berta married into the Habig family, another one of the monarchy's big hat makers P & C Habig. The Habig family, in particular Peter Habig, in 1896/87 had the "Habig Hof" (Vienna 4, Wiedner Hauptstraße 15-17) erected by architects Carl Holzmann and Heinrich Landau. In 1899, Habig likewise became purveyor to the imperial court.
