Art Nouveau dining room sideboard,
Designed and produced by the firm August Ungethüm in Vienna circa 1905. Made in spruce with rosewood veneer and decorated with marquetry bands in boxwood, decorated with carved ornament, the front with 4 glazed doors with facetted glass, 2 full doors and 1 pull-out ledge, a marble top, mirror on the back panel, and 1 key embossed with the company name: Aug. Ungethüm Wien V. 190.5 x 192.5 x 64 cm. With minor ageing and wear and small veneer losses. (MIN)
