Lake Constance area, circa 1780/90. A divisible cabinet with wedge joints, partly in walnut and walnut veneer, with marquetry ornament and stylised flowers in various fine woods, the frieze area decorated with applied carvings of festoons, and with carved uprights, with 2 doors, a richly moulded and stepped cornice, lock and key. 206 x 179 x 68 cm. In cared-for overall condition, with minor ageing and wear. (MIN)
