wood, black lacquered, a rectangular base, a box with a clockwork in the shape of the cartouche is supported by two sidewalls with four lion paws, the clock is decorated with brass appliqués, on the top there are alabaster pins, an anchor escapement with a spring drive, a 1/4 hour spring striker and a date dial, mechanical clockworks, an enamel dial in the centre, on the sides there are the two soldiers in ancient armour striking the springs, Austria, early 19th century, height 52 cm, original condition and patina, functional, no guarantee of timekeeping accuracy (Zí)
