memorial goblet on the occasion of the coronation on June 8, 1867, glass, colourless,conical faceted sides with recessed silver-yellow stained lip, twelve sides with silver-yellow edges, front side with oval cut medallion featuring the depiction as a half-portrait on silver-yellow ground, described as ELISABETH top left, reverse side with oval cut medallion featuring double eagle of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, framed by acorns and oak leaf border on silver-yellow ground, both medallions, approx. height 70 mm, are excellently executed in copper wheel engraving, shaft and twelve-sided base with twelve silver-yellow edges, sixteen-point silver-yellow star to base, height 18 cm, Bohemia, probably around 1967 on the occasion of the centenary (Ru)

Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie, b. Munich, December 25, 1839, d. Geneva, September 10, 1898, was married to Emperor Franz Josef I of Austria in 1854, Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary. The coronation portrait was painted by Georg Raab in 1867 and was used as a model for this authentic glass cut. Georg Raab, Vienna, Feb 1, 1821 – Dec. 31, 1885, studied painting at the Akademie in Vienna, painted likenesses of members of the imperial family and the court society.
