French salon chest of drawers,
Louis XVI period circa 1780/90. Made in oak with mostly tulipwood veneer, and with marquetry panels in partly dyed fine woods, with a polished finish, 5 drawers, the lower two being "sans traverse", the bronze mounts with later gilding, some restored, and with a marble top. Stamped on the back left support J. LAPIE(Jean Lapie). 92 x 130 x 63 cm. In fine restored condition. (MIN)
