Rare Pinzgau coffer known as a “Sockeltruhe”,
Dated 1800. A blue-painted pine coffer, the front with moulded panels and gold painted carved corner ornament typical of this region, painted with vases of flowers and vines, the lid similarly decorated with mouldings and marbling. The coffer has lateral handles, a rail with interior drawers and interior compartment. Ca. 93 x 155.5 x 67.5 cm. The painting reworked, otherwise in good condition. (DOC)
