Upper Austrian rustic cabinet,
Linz area, 2nd half of the 18th century. A divisible spruce cabinet with a grained finish, also with painted flowers, with a richly moulded plinth, canted angles, 2 doors with original lock and key, and a stepped cornice, known as a “Stufensteiger”. Ca. 203 x 169 x 73 cm. The paint retouched, varnished and painted in the course of a restoration. Some ageing, with parts loose or missing. (PZ)
