porcelain, of round form, the body with narrow and wide gilt edging, gilt pine finials, the angular gilt handles with leaf terminals, decorated with wide gilt leaf borders on carnelian ground, wide matt gilt bands with bright gilt palmette-, bead- and meander borders, gilt leaf friezes with rosettes on light blue grounds, polychrome painted grotesques with nude female torch bearers, vases, blossoms and leaves, gilt medallions cont. ladies and gentlemen in the manner of antiquity painted én grisaille, the facing side and reverse of the body with large polychrome painted scenes, round base, square plinth, square stepped plinth, total height: 55 cm, base 22,5 x 22,5 cm, 1 finial restored, Vienna, apocryphal underglaze blue Austrian shield after 1864 on body and plinth (Ru)
