Rare tall chest of drawers,
Massachusetts, circa 1730-60. Made partly in walnut and burl walnut, with marquetry and walnut-stained maple. The piece has a table-like support on cabriole legs, three drawers, and cone ornament; the four-drawer upper section has an additional cornice drawer. 169 x 106 x 55.5 cm. In restored condition, the mounts replaced. (PZ)
