porcelain, body in the form of rock face with trees in leaf, colourful sculptural branches in flower with gilt, light turquoise and light purple-accented leaf rocailles, surmounted by a bird’s nest with 5 eggs and a pair of birds, to the left, a bird of paradise, beneath which a yellow-crested cockatoo, to the right, bird searching for nectar, beneath which a parrot, clock with Roman numerals and hands on a white clock face, to the obverse and reverse glazed apertures, ‘bronze dore’ mounts, height 32 cm, length 27 cm, movement not tested, some restoration, Meissen, underglaze blue sword mark, 2nd half of 19th cent., model 2686, painter no. 28 (Ru)
