Copy of Russian expert opinion from the Museum for Applied and Folk Art available. This bowl probably comes from Tsarskoye Selo where in the Subov wing of the palace a matching bowl is to be found in the Asiatic room. This is referred to in the expert opinion, also in the catalogue "Art bronze at Tsarskoye Selo" by S. Kaykova there is a reference to this bowl by Barbedienne.
