An early lidded tankard from Vienna, of excellent workmanship and with fine ivory carving. Master Michael Gotthardt Unterhueber (b. ca. 1657/58, d.1743), handed in his finished masterpiece on 2. Dezember 1685 and acquired citizenship on 9. April 1688. The master scrolls list him from 1688 to 1728.
