Gobelin,
Aubusson (France), c. 350 x 265 cm, mid-18th century, on grounds of its colours and contours the present tapestry can be clearly attributed to the Manufacture Royale d’Aubusson, hunting scene in silk and wool weaving, very good colour condition, with filigree floral shrubs projecting into the picture from the margin, the galloon at both ends has been repaired, it is possible that original borders at both ends may have been lost, otherwise good condition and entirely backed with silk fabric.
