Exquisite and exceptionally rare collector’s cabinet,
Presumably intended for medals or orders, 1st half of the 19th century. A rosewood-veneered cabinet on carved and gold-painted paw feet, with outstanding figural and ornamental painted decoration on the two doors. The interior back panel with later velvet lining. Ca. 70 x 52 x 17 cm. In cared-for condition, with a fine patina. (PZ)
