Probably Russia, ca. 1830/40. A mahogany-veneered softwood canapé, the sides naturalistically carved with fabulous creatures and with claw feet. With restored upholstery. Width ca. 180 cm. In cared-for condition, with small veneer losses on the edge of the backrest. (DOC)
