German, mid-18th century. A bureau “a deux corps”, with walnut veneer and marquetry panels. The serpentine lower section has three drawers and a fall-front writing surface, with an altered and partly restored fitted interior; the upper section has 2 doors with mirrors and 5 interior drawers. Ca. 201 x 122 x 62 cm. Some ageing and evidence of restoration, with small losses. (PZ)
