German early Baroque cabinet,
Known as an “Ulmer Fassadenschrank”, late 17th century. An oak and ash cabinet, partly veneered in ash, with marquetry in various native fine woods, also with fretwork and fully carved heads. The cabinet has 2 doors, with an old but later lock, 2 plinth drawers added at a later date and a loose cornice. 220 x 188 x 65 cm. In cared-for condition, with minor ageing and wear. (MIN/PZ)
