Known as a ‘Fauteuil a la reine’ or ‘Marquise’, in the Louis XVI style, made in the 2nd half of the 19th century. A high quality carved and gold-painted hardwood fauteuil with upholstered seat, backrest and armrests, also with restored linen covers. Ca. 91 x 82 x 56 cm. In cared-for condition with some ageing.
