Upper Austrian rustic cabinet,
Known as a “Reiterkasten”, Enns-St. Florian 3rd quarter of the 18th century. A divisible spruce cabinet with a grained finish, painted with flowers and bands, also with coloured equestrian engravings. The cabinet has canted rounded angles with carved capitals, two doors with two later locks and one key. 204 x 165 x 65 cm. Some heavy ageing, with small losses, two engravings with amateur retouching and overpainting, the cornice heavily restored. (PZ)
