In the lower left corner of the picture lies a calf’s head, with a meat pastry, a turkey, and two quails arranged next to it on a table. In accordance with what seems to be the composition’s leading motif, two pieces of meat are suspended from the wall in the left background; a shelf on the right-hand side contains a breadbasket, dumplings, and pieces of bread.
