classicising body with fine and wide gilt rims, colourfully-painted strewn flowers, surmounted by 2 doves billing and cooing on a garland of roses, 4 acanthus vases, to the obverse colourful garland of roses, clock with yellow metal mounts, gilt numerals and hands on a white enamel face, framed with laurel stems with pink bow, to one side green laurel festoons, seated Cupid with quiver and bow, holding torch in his hands, rectangular base with light purple chains in relief, green foliate décor and 4 small ball feet, height 31 cm, length 26 cm, pendulum available, hairline crack to clock face, Meissen, underglaze blue sword mark, 1st half of 19th cent., model no. F 36, former no. 143, painter no. 28, model by Michael Victor Acier 1775-1779(Ru)
