to the centre stands an obelisk with a laurel wreath on a light purple band, to the base a medallion with the portrait of Tsarina Catherine II, to one side a standing putto with a laurel wreath in his hair and a lyre in his left hand, a seated putto writing in an open book, another on a cloud blows a trumpet, front of base segmented with gilt rims and pink bands, with gilt-accented green foliate frieze, porcelain, polychrome and gilt figural group, height 31 cm, length 17 cm, repairs, Meissen, underglaze blue sword mark, 1st half of 19th cent., model no. 11, former no. 163, 96, gilt painter no. 40, model by Michel Victor Acier circa 1774 (Ru)
