There is volume of pen-and-ink drawings in the Kupferstichkabinett Dresden, the cover sheet of which carries the following title, ‘Attilio Regolo Vestiario dela Opera representata nel Carnevale MDCCL’. The drawings relate to the opera by Hasse, Attilio Regulo, which was performed on 12 January 1750 in Dresden. The individual leaves depict the performing characters. The first leaf is inscribed ‘Attilia Faustina’, the second, ‘Regolo Annibali’. The porcelain figure matches this drawing in terms of its posture and clothing, which allows one to suppose that this is a depiction of Hasse’s Faustina.
