Outstanding model of a day bed,
England, Regency circa 1835. Judging by the execution and quality of the piece this is presumably by the cabinet maker Gillon. Made in mahogany with relief carving and full carving, later upholstery and a loose cushion. Ca. 84 x 182 x 63 cm. Some ageing and wear, the covers stained. (PZ)
