Description: the base cloth of pike-grey worsted cloth, standing collar, sleeve cuffs and all piping in cherry-red velvet, 2 (darkened) stars of distinction for officers, gilt buttons with Arabic numeral 9, the upper lining made of cream-coloured ribbed silk, the tail lining of pike-grey silk, the interior with tailor label "K. u. k. Hoflieferant Alexander Sohr, Kammerlieferant Sr. Majestät, Wien I", 8 loops for distinctions. A regulation uniform of outstanding quality tailoring, in splendid condition, I (JZG)
Provenance: property of the family. The present uniform tunic was specially made for the highly-decorated lieutenant Oblt. Rudolf Bäuer on the occasion of the funeral of Emperor Franz Joseph I on 30.11.16 in Vienna.
