A campaign dress tunic for a Lieutenant Field Marshal,
with general uniform according to regulations of 1910/11, light-grey cloth tunic, standing collar, the facings of scarlet cloth, the standing collar with gold lace of field officers' pattern and each with two silver-embroidered stars of distinction, the upper body with white silk lining, the tails lined with scarlet silk, the inside label with name of wearer has been removed, 2 rows of 6 generals' buttons, 6 of the same buttons on the reverse, one small button on each sleeve, 7 loops for attaching decorations, signs of age, II (JZG)
Tunics for Lieutenant Field Marshals are very rare among Generals' tunics. Provenance: South German private collection, acquired at Dorotheum in 1974
