West Turkestan, c. 290 x 200 cm, second half of the 19th century, a magnificent central carpet with 4 x 10 perfectly drawn, round primary guls and kurbaghe secondary guls accompanied by intermittent pairs of rhombs, the present piece displays strikingly vivid colours with rich blue and green hues, on both sides knotted elems with kilim remains, signs of wear and low pile are visible along the horizontal central axis and in the upper left section, some unprofessionally darned areas, edge damage to the left side.
