France, a) c. 72 x 76 cm, b) c. 68 x 68 cm, 19th century, seat covers manufactured on wool warp with silk and wool, depicting poultry and an exotic wood landscape, as well as a chinoiserie with a Chinese sitting on a cushion with crossed legs and smoking a pipe, the latter piece carries the signature of the painter “Dubreuil”, both pieces display vivid colours and a good state of preservation, some edge damage.
