Southwest Persia (Iran), c. 142 x 148 cm, about 1900, two-piece woven horse blanket with exposed warp threads and additional floating decorative wefts, the present piece was actually used as a horse blanket, slight repairs and edge damage to the “wings”, decorative tassels still preserved. (MA)
