In the style of the Swiss cabinet maker Johann Heinrich Keller (b.1627 in Basel - d. 1708 in Basel) last third of the 17th century. A massive architectural style softwood hall cupboard with walnut veneer, which is demountable by means of wedge joints, set on bun feet, with a moulded double cornice, on triple twist turned columns, the central column being prominent, decorated on all sides with fully carved heads and hanging fruits. The hall cupboard has two large doors at the front with high domed panels and similar column decoration, these with splendid figural carved applications, the sides with doors decorated in a similar manner to the front. There is a large chased two-bar iron case lock. 242 x 249 94 cm. The plinth area restored. In cared-for condition.
