Batak, Sumatra, Indonesia: A sword of the Toba Batak, with a thick ivory grip. - Arte Tribale

A typical, old sword of the Toba Batak, called a ‘piso gading’. From Lake Toba in central Sumatra. With a long, narrow and single-edged blade made out of locally forged iron.
