- the original idea for this bicycle goes back to East Germany
- Textima, a textile machine building company, had set up a special department for the construction of racing bicycles
- the precision and quality of the construction of these 'East German' bike caused astonishment
- after the reunification, production continued under the name of Inbike
- this model is one of them: number 11206
- its reinforcement webs at the tube junctions are typical of Textima bikes
- the aerodynamic carbon handlebars, developed by the Head of Design at Pininfarina, Paolo Mar tin, were moulded by the Italian firm 3ttt
- Dura-Ace-10 components complete the purposeful appearance
- instead of the usual 13millimetre the chain ringpitch measures just 10 millimetres
- making it 21% smaller and 38% lighter
