- aluminium as material for the frame was not completely new since the 1890s, but unusual
- in France complete bicycles have been built from aluminium
- Aviac had his workshop in Courbevoie close to Paris
- tubes have been mounted from many firms, their label was usually below the Aviac lable
- this version only has an Aviac lable
- the aluminium tubes and the characteristic aluminium sockets were joined together in a patented technique
- the components from aluminium make the Aviac a lightweight
- the shift system comes from Simplex, made from aluminium as well as the treadle, the front, the brakes and the light
- the hammered finished Lefol Le Martele mudguards harmonises with the front light
- inside cables have been extremely rare
