The confirmation states: ".. bestätigt hiermit, diese von Weil. Ihrer Majestät einmal getragenen silknen weißen Stiefletten bei der Ausmusterung der Garderobe von Weiland Ihrer Majestät als Gift erhalten zu haben, ... Meran, am 27. April 1899". (confirms having received as a present from her majesty, upon the clearing out of her wardrobe, these ankle boots which had been worn once by her majesty)
