Provenance:
From the estate of Archduchess Margarethe Clementine of Austria (1870-1955), Princess von Thurn and Taxis by marriage. The Archduchess came from the Hungarian branch of the Habsburg house which went back to Archduke Joseph. The brooch was inherited by the Archduchess and was later passed down in her estate.
