South Turkestan, c. 202 x 172 cm, mid-19th century, large door carpet with four complete hexagons and rare border drawing with diagonal crosses, its enormous size suggests that the present piece was not originally used for a yurt, but for a house, all sides original with beautiful kilim ends, silky soft pile wool with silk highlights, in excellent condition.
